SME SHIPPING uses parcel weight compared to box volume. If the parcel weight is greater than the box volume, the parcel weight is used to calculate the price. However, if the box volume is greater than the parcel weight, the price is calculated based on the box volume instead.
The value of goods shipped from Thailand to Australia is... Not exceeding AUD 1,000. Most items are tax-free at customs (except for certain categories like alcohol and tobacco, which are taxed at their entire value). However, if it's a direct sale to consumers by a retailer registered with the Australian GST, the seller may be required to collect GST 10% at the time of customer payment, not at customs.
